This zapper kills insects on contact with a low-voltage electric current when they touch the surface of the "net." Handle collapses for convenient storage and travel. Uses two replaceable AA batteries; batteries not included.

DIRECTIONS: To open, unscrew (counter-clockwise) the square black knob at the hinge of the zapper’s handle. When loose, twist the handle so that it is in the open position, perpendicular to the zapper’s head. Tighten the square black knob (clockwise) to secure. To close the handle, reverse the process. To kill the insect, hold the zapper by the handle, and hold down both buttons on the sides of the handle. The red light indicates that the net is activated. Move the zapper towards the insect to make contact with the net surface. Safe for indoor and outdoor use.

CARE: Wipe screen with a soft dry towel. Do not use water to clean.

WARNING: Be careful not to touch the net surface while the switches are on. Touching the net with the switches on will cause a shock.
