Mersea Island by Drone - Essex Boys Video

Please note, no drones were flown around the kids.. all shots near to the kids and on private property were taken with the drone held in my hand powered down. All flying was done over the sea. Please fly safe and respectfully.

A collection of shots taken around Mersea Island in Essex, UK, of the boys Jack and James, on their holidays on the Island this summer. Taken with an SJCAM 5000X on a TBS Discovery drone with a Tarot 2D gimbal. Woke up early to perfect weather, no wind, calm seas, blue sky, and the sun rising. When I saw the shots I thought I must make these into a video.

Edited in Adobe Premiere, with the FUJI Reala 500D Kodak filmstock, a 2.5:1 aspect ratio, and some lens correction for the small GoPro size camera lens. Hope you enjoy it as much as the boys.
